Our Water Saving Plan and Tips
Here’s What We Provide

Water-Saving Tips
At Home :
1. Collect water used from cooking and use the cooled water on house plants.
2. Keep a jug next to the kitchen tap to collect any water that you run when waiting for the tap to heat up - use this water in your houseplants or in the garden.

In the Bathroom:
1. Choose to take a shower rather than a bath.
2. Try turning the water off in between washing your body, shampooing, and conditioning.
3. Avoid shaving with the shower or tap running - use a small bowl of water instead.

Outside:
1. Stop watering your lawn - check the weather before you water.
Water-saving plan:
1. Toilet Use at Home: 3.3 gpf * number of households * number flushes per day
2. Shower time: 2 gpm * minutes per shower* number of households
For example:
•Toilet Use at Home = 3.3 gpf * 4 flushes per day*1 household = 13.2 gcpd savings
•Showerheads = 2 gpm * 7 minutes per shower *1 household = 14 gcpd
